Bulguksa Temple was listed as the first UNESCO World Heritage Site in Korea in 1995.
During Shilla dynasty, almost 1,500 years ago Buddhism was national religion and built Bulguksa Temple to make the "Buddhist country" with the best construction techniques.

Seokguram is an artificial stone cave built with a meticulous design to serve the Buddha in 8th century which was designated as UNESCO world heritage in 1995. Inside the cave, Beautiful main Buddha showing the essence of Silla Buddhist art is enshrined.

Daereungwon, an ancient tomb park with 23 large and small tombs huddled together.
Among them, Cheonmachong is the most representative, which is the only tomb in Daeneungwon to be unveiled. It was believed to have been built in the late 5th to early 6th centuries, and gold crowns, hats, belts and gilt-bronze shoes were excavated as they were worn.

Woljeong Bridge is originally wooden bridge made in Silla dynasty.
All restoration was completed in April 2018 by conducting a 10-year investigation, testimony, and restoration of what was lost and disappeared during the Joseon Dynasty.
Thanks to it's beautiful reproduction, now it became popular drama and movie filming location.

Hwangridan-gil is the youngest road in Gyeongju. It refers to the areas of Hwangnam-dong.
Young people began to gather a few years ago, and cafes with good atmosphere, souvenir shops and unique restaurants were built in each alley.

Cheomseongdae, the oldest observatory in asia. It is presumed to have been built during the 7th century, one of the landmarks symbolizing Gyeongju.
It can be guessed that Cheomseongdae was used to calculate the movement of the sky to determine the farming period and to predict the good and bad luck of the country.

This place was built as the royal castle of Silla in the 22nd year of King Pasa in 101 AD, and the palace was there until the fall of Silla in 935 AD. It was called ‘Sinwolseong (新月城)’ or ‘Wolseong (城)’ because the terrain resembled a crescent moon, and it was also called ‘Jaeseong (在城)’ because it was the castle where the king lived. It has been called Banwolseong (半月城) since the Joseon Dynasty and continues to this day. Wolseong’s castle is a stone and earthen wall built with a mixture of stones and soil, and is 1,841m long and has an area of 193,585㎡ inside the castle.
