It is a traditional folk village located in Pungcheon-myeon, Andong-si, Gyeongsangbuk-do. There are 11 buildings designated as cultural properties, including 2 treasures and 9 national folk cultural properties, and 2 national treasures.

At the 34th meeting of the UNESCO World Heritage Committee (WHC) in Brasilia, Brazil, on July 31, 2010, it was confirmed that it was registered as a World Heritage Site along with Gyeongju Yangdong Village

There will be traditional mask dance performance.

It is at the end of the Taebaeksanmaek Mountain Range and is one of the best tourist attractions in Hahoe Village where you can see the entire village from the top, and the name Buyongdae is derived from Chinese ancient history, and Buyong means lotus. At first, it was called Bukae, which means a hill in the north of Hahoe. Okyeonjeongsa Temple, Gyeomamjeongsa Temple, and Hwacheon Seowon are located where the Nakdonggang River meanders.
