Overview
Table Mountain National Park is a national park in Cape Town, South Africa, proclaimed on 29 May 1998, for the conservation of the exceptionally beautiful and scientifically meaningful natural landscape that occurs within the Table Mountain Chain, the Peninsula Plain and the offshore islands. The park is managed by South African National Parks (SANParks).
It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the world's 19 biodiversity hotspots, with over 2,200 plant species, including many endemic species.
