About this experience

Embark on a unique experience and take the Cable car to the top of Table Mountain, one of the New Seven Wonders of Nature, for a guided tour. The tour proceeds to Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens for a walk in one of the most beautiful gardens in South Africa. From there we stop in Constantia Winelands and visit one of the oldest wine farms in the country, Groot Constantia.

Detailed itinerary

You will be collected at 8:30am and begin the full day private tour to Table Mountain, Kirstenbosch and Constantia Winelands.

Stop 2

Stop at the Table Mountain cableway station and take the Cable car to the top of the mountain to explore this spectacular New 7 Wonders of Nature. Step onto this unique mountain and see Cape Town from new heights.

Please note this tour excludes Table Mountain cableway tickets and travelers are advised to pre-purchase their Table Mountain tickets online to avoid the ticketing queues.

Stop 3

Arriving from Table Mountain we will board the waiting vehicle and travel to Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens. Kirstenbosch Gardens is one of the most beautiful gardens in South Africa and can be found at the foot of Table Mountain. Take a walk in the garden; walk along the boardwalk; bring along a picnic basket and a picnic blanket and take in the beauty of nature. There is also a restaurant where you are welcome to have lunch at your own account. Alternatively, you may have lunch at one of the wine estates restaurants that we will visit.

Stop 4

From Kirstenbosch, we will travel to Groot Constantia wine estate. Groot Constantia wine estate is one of the oldest wine estates in South Africa and has been producing wines for more than 300 years and today is still producing some of the finest wines in the country. Here you can enjoy a wine tasting and purchase fine wines. For lunch options there are 2 restaurants, Simon's Restaurant and Jonkershuis Restaurant. If you never had lunch at Kirstenbosch, one of these restaurants will be a superb choice.

Departing from Groot Constantia wine estate we will return to Cape Town for drop off at your accommodation.
