he day begins with a gentle seaside walk from Muizenberg to St James, where colorful bathing boxes line the shore. We follow the coastline to Kalk Bay, a village alive with tales of randlords, smugglers, and pirates who once shaped this harbor town. Geoff brings these stories to life, weaving history into the rhythm of the ocean beside us.
From here, the adventure shifts onto the water. In Simon’s Town we launch kayaks and paddle across the bay to meet the African penguins at Boulders Beach. Drifting quietly alongside these charming creatures in their natural habitat is a rare privilege, offering a perspective few visitors experience.
We end the day at beautiful Seaforth, where a leisurely lunch celebrates the Cape’s fresh flavors with ocean views to match. Blending storytelling, walking, and kayaking, this experience captures both the spirit and the soul of the Cape Peninsula.
