Overview
The Hue Citadel, also known as the Dai Noi, is an immense complex of imperially sealed off walled cities and palaces, located on the Perfume River in Hue, Vietnam. It is the former imperial city of the Nguyen Dynasty built between 1804 to 1833.
The Hue Citadel was the political, cultural and religious center of Vietnamese feudal society for 143 years, from 1802 to 1945. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
