Arid/Desert - Sesriem experiences a hot desert climate with very little rainfall throughout the year. Temperatures can be extremely high during the day and drop significantly at night, especially in the cooler months.
May to September (winter and early spring)
This is the most popular time to visit due to cooler temperatures and clear skies, making it ideal for hiking and exploring the desert landscapes. The weather is generally pleasant, and the days are sunny.
April and October to November
The shoulder seasons offer fewer crowds and slightly warmer temperatures. April can still be mild, while October to November starts to get hotter, especially in the afternoons.
