Detailed itinerary

Stop 1

Arrival at Bran Castle around 12:00 PM is famously associated with Vlad the Impaler and Bram Stoker's Dracula. Visitors can tour its medieval chambers, dungeons, and enjoy spectacular views of the surrounding mountains and countryside.
Main Attraction:
•Vlad the Impaler Connection: Vlad III, also known as Vlad the Impaler or Dracula, was a 15th-century ruler of Wallachia whose brutal methods of ruling inspired Bram Stoker’s famous novel Dracula. Although there is no evidence that Vlad ever lived in or even visited Bran Castle, its association with him has made it a central point for Dracula enthusiasts.
•The Architecture of Bran Castle: originally built in 1377 by King Louis I of Hungary to defend the strategic mountain pass against invading forces. It is an excellent example of medieval military architecture, with high walls, fortified towers, and narrow, winding staircases.
• The Courtyard
Lunch: Take a break to enjoy a meal in the nearby village.
