Please note that the Transfagarasan road is closed between November till the end of June. In this period, we can drive on the Transfagarasan road as far as 1200 meters and from there we can take the cable car to Balea Lake. The cable car will offer us a unique perspective of the Balea Waterfall and the most spectacular part of the Transfagarasan road. In this period, we aren't able to see Capra Waterfall, which is located on the south side of the mountain.

We will drive on the most spectacular part of Transfagarasan Road, on the north side and a few kilometres on the south side
We will stop on the side of the road to admire the Balea Waterfall, take photos and take the first breath of fresh air.
We will stop on the shore of the lake for another photo session. We will walk around the lake and we will be able to reach a very good spot to take pictures with the entire south side of the Transfagarasan road. We will have the possibility for coffee of lunch.
This will be the end of our route on Transfagarasan. We will stop near the waterfall and we will be able to get very close to it ( we can even touch the water)
