With this tour, you will be able to experience Japan's most beautiful cycling road, the Shimanami Kaido Cycling road.
The Shimanami Kaido is approximately 60 kilometers long toll road that connects the mainland of Japan and the Shikoku Island. On this road there are 6 islands in the Seto Inland Sea.
With this 3 hour course you will be going to 2 of the 6 islands Therefore this is perfect for those who would like to try cycling Shimanami Kaido but not would like to ride too long. Along the way, you can enjoy the beautiful islands view and local shops as well.
There will be an english speaking guide who will help you get your bicycle ready for your trip so there will be no stress on your part.
Ride the ferry from Onomichi Port to Shigei East Port in Innoshima Island.
The first stop you will be in Innoshima Island is the Hassakuya.
This is a store famous for it's Hassaku Daifuku, a traditional Japanese rice cake sweets.

A beautiful white bridge that connects the island of Innoshima Island and to the next island, the Mukaishima Island.
Once on the other side you will be stopping at the Tachibana Shokudo, Shima no Market, and also the orange market, places that are known in the Shimanami Kaido.
Tachibana on the southern coast of Mukaishima has some lovely long beaches and gorgeous views. The Tachibana Shokudo with its well-tended lawn and stylish interior is a very popular place to stop for lunch.
