Overview
The Montreal Biosphere, or La Biosphère, is an eco-museum dedicated to the environment. It is housed in a geodesic dome that originally was the United States Pavilion designed by Buckminster Fuller for Expo 67.
It is one of the few museums in the world dedicated exclusively to the environment and was the first building in Canada to be awarded LEED Platinum certification for sustainable design.
