The Mausoleum at Halicarnassus, also known as the Tomb of Mausolus, was a monumental tomb built for Mausolus, a Persian satrap, and his sister-wife Artemisia II of Caria. It was located in present-day Bodrum, Turkey.
One of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, it is a significant example of Hellenistic architecture and art.
