This is without any doubt the most amazing road in all over Cape Verde, This basalt stone road was built in 1962 to connect the north and south of the island, a road full of stunning and magnificent landscapes, with narrow passages and deep canyons and a very rich flora with trees such as pine, eucalyptus, Mimose, Acacia, among others.
You will also visit the Cova volcanic crater located at the highest point of the road where you will be impressed by the majestic view of the entire mountainous island.

This is a small fisher village located on the extreme north of this island which a touristic place and very important to know its history. From Ponta do Sol you can also drive to the coast Linha till Fontainhas with amazing view and very narrow road.

This is a colourful city in the middle of 2 valleys which is a centre of agriculture and all others services as a bank, post, school among others.
There is a chance to hike in the biggest valley of this island

Paúl is considered the greenest valley in all over Cape verde, the valley is full of water coming from the Cova Crater running to the sea, one of the most pleasant view of this valley you find here.
