Get picked up at your accommodation in Porto Novo or others listed locations and drive through the mountains until your reach Cova Natural Park

Have your first stop at Cape Verde's largest volcanic crater, Cova de Paúl. There, have a panoramic view of the extinct volcano above 1000 meters in height and enjoy breathtaking landscapes of the immense and green round plain inside of the crater used as agricultural fields.

Then, head to Delgadin, a perfect mountaintop to admire the natural towers carved in the valley off Ribeira da Torre.

After arriving at Povoacão, one of the main cities of Santo Antão, proceed to Ribeira de Torre, where there are many banana trees, fruits and vegetables.

Next, head to the charming coastal village of Ponta de Sol and meet local fishermen with their small, traditional boats.

Then, drive to the picturesque village of Fontainhas, one of the 10 villages with the best view in the world according to National Geografic. The access is via cobbled road embedded in the mountains, with narrow access along the cliffs, offering breathtaking landscapes.

Visit the greenest valley of Cape Verde, Vale de Paúl. There, see thatched roof houses, visit a distillery and taste the famous local rum called “grogue”.
