The Ruben Dario Museum is located in Leon, where Nicaragua's most famous poet died and his childhood. It is not only a popular tourist attraction in Nicaragua, but locals visit to be reminded of the genius who once walked among them. It contains exhibits such as his first handwritten poem and other written works, his bible, photographs, and most of his furniture.

3

The Ortz Gurdián Foundation Art Center in Leon has four houses with wide corridors, lounges, and gardens built between the 18th and 19th centuries. This is an example of the most authentic Leonese architecture of those times. Here, they will have a memorable encounter with Western art, ranging from the Renaissance, Baroque, and Romanticism, to Latin American modernity, indigenous antiquity, and contemporary art.

4
Stop 4

The Cathedral of the Assumption of Mary, also known as the "Royal and Renowned Basilica Cathedral of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary." It is a Baroque and Neoclassical structure in Nicaragua that has been designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It has been nominated as Nicaragua's third cultural landmark and has a long story that awaits you to discover!

5

The Museum of the Revolution is Nicaragua's most interesting and unique museum because its ancient structure is a living testament to the revolution's battles. Inside its walls, which are riddled with bullet holes and murals of newspaper clippings, photocopies of documents, and photographs, you can hear directly from the former who fought for the Sandinista revolution.

6

It is one of Nicaragua's most remarkable attractions, located in an old prison building used for this purpose between 1921 and 1979. You will see prison cells representing Nicaraguan traditions and legends through puppet illustrations and wall paintings depicting how tortured prisoners suffered.
