In this adventure you can explore and photograph an active super volcano and enjoy multiple natural attractions that surround it, you will definitely live an epic hike. Momotombo with a fascinating history is part of a group of 10 volcanoes connected to each other and lined up along the fire belt where 75% of the world’s volcanoes are located. With a perfect cone and almost 1300 meters above sea level this 4500 year old volcano can be observed from anywhere, it is considered the most representative volcano of Nicaragua. This hike is a difficult challenge even for the most experienced hikers, however; if you are inexperienced, physically fit enough or your time is very short you can combine the easier trails through amazing viewpoints and avoid the more difficult sections. Even if you can’t reach the top you can walk on the volcano and enjoy fantastic views. This is why this hike is highly recommended for everyone.
