We are now standing in front of the Royal Palace on Dam Square. Today, it is one of the Dutch royal palaces, but in the past, this impressive building served a very different purpose.

Just next to the Royal Palace stands the New Church (Nieuwe Kerk).
This historic 15th-century church is no longer used for regular worship.
