Magere Brug, or the "Skinny Bridge," is one of Amsterdam’s most famous and picturesque bridges. It spans the Amstel River, offering a stunning view of the opera house and the waterway. According to legend, it was constructed by two wealthy sisters who lived on opposite sides of the river and wanted an easy way to visit each other. Today, the bridge is a popular spot for photos, especially at night when it is beautifully lit.
