About this experience

I'm Anna Maria Priora, an Italian licensed tour guide with a PhD in WWII history in Italy at the Humboldt University of Berlin.
I will be happy to share with you the most important events of the 4 Battles of Cassino, but also the personal Veterans' stories!
My tours run every day in the morning but if you need an afternoon tour please write me a message, i will arrange it.

I will pick you up with my Italian Minivan at the train station of Cassino and we will cross Cassino new Town. We Will reach Trocchio Hill, to have a wonderful general view on the battlefield, then
we will the stop next to the famous Rapido River, we will pay out respect to the local memorials and we will reach the Commonwealth War Cemetery of Cassino.
At the end of the tour we will visit the Abbey of Monte Cassino on a WW2 point of view.

In front of Cassino Train Station, where the Green Kiosk of the information point is. You can join Cassino from Rome Termini by train, or from Naples by train and flixbus. If you need an afternoon tour please write me a message. I usually wear a red poppy and i have an italian flag with me.
