You will get the chance to enter a section of the underground bunkers which were secretly build in the mountain in the 1940s. Inspect markings left by allied soldiers as the liberated Europe in 1945, document rooms burned at the end of the war and many other fascinating places that tell the history of those dark chapter of human history.

Stop 2

A must for history buffs while visiting the Bavarian Alps. Upon arriving to the Obersalzberg you will get an introduction to the area. Why was this idyllical location chosen to be heart of the Third Reich.

With the mountains on our back our adventure begins as you rediscover the history of the first allied soldiers to get there and make it to the history books including the famous 101st airborne.

You will follow their steps into the Obersalzberg, the former Nazi fortification where many plans changed the destiny of millions.

Rediscover the ruins of all high-ranking officers that lived there and gain insight about the life and happenings in the area. Some hidden locations in the forest tell the history of WWII in a very especial way. You will conclude with a visit to the underground bunkers.

The tour is around 2 hours outside and 1 in the bunker. Remember to wear you can easily take some off later.
