About this experience

At the museum, we take you on the tulip’s journey around the world. From its discovery in Kazakhstan around the year 1000 to its current status as an icon of the Netherlands. You will find out all about the tulip and learn in an interactive way about the cycle of bulb cultivation using state-of-the-art machinery and old objects (from before 1950). You will get an audi tour as well.
The Experience continues outside and you will step into a beautiful palette of colours. In the show garden, 1 million tulips are planted in 700 different varieties of tulips. All tulip varieties come from our own nursery. The show garden also has a number of special photo points for taking the perfect picture!
After the Tulip Experience you will visit the amazing Keukenhof flower Gardens. Over 7 million bulbs will bloom this spring, with a total of 800 varieties of tulips. A unique, unforgettable experience!
Pick up and drop off is in Amsterdam.
To avoid the crowds you can choose for a early or late tour.

From its discovery in Kazakhstan around the year 1000 to its current status as an icon of the Netherlands. Follow the story of the tulip through the eyes of the bulb grower!
After the museum, the Experience continues outside and you will step into a beautiful palette of colours. In the show garden, 1 million tulips are planted in 700 different varieties of tulips. At the end of the Tulp Experience you can pick your own tulips for free!
