Shared Group Tour
Duration: 8 hours
Pickup included
We start by heading inside the Caldeira of Guilherme Moniz, the second biggest volcano of our island, so we can access the inner roads of Agualva. The descend to Baias da Agualva is optional.
After leaving Agualva, we contine on inner roads, now opting for the preferences of the clients: would you rather visit a cave or do a short hiking trail? Afterwards, we look on to Biscoitos, from the mountains above, continuing our road to Serreta!
Now moving on to Serreta, we have yet another choice: do you want to embark on more dirt roads and possibly another short hiking trail or do you rather ride of the border of a cliff on the north/west coast?
Eventually, we will stop for lunch, if you choose to include that option. Usually we opt for a traditional lunch.
After lunch, we head to the interior of the island, passing by the viewpoint of Serra de Santa Bárbara, located on one of the streets that crosses the inside of the island.
Continuing with our tour, we then head to Christmas Cave, where we visit the lava tubes and continue to visit Algar do Carvão, an empty volcano. Along the way, if it's of interest, we can stop at the entrance of a small black forest as well as the furnas de enxofre.
When you book with us, please inform us where to pick you up, and the guide shall await you there.
