For cheese lovers, this tour is the perfect way to enjoy Amsterdam. Begin with a 2.5-hour walking tour through the historic streets of the city center, guided by an expert who reveals how a small muddy village on the Amstel grew into Europe’s leading trading hub. The experience continues with a 1-hour cheese tasting at the prestigious Old Amsterdam shop, where you’ll sample five varieties of Gouda paired with carefully selected wines. This gastronomic experience blends history, tradition, and flavor in one of the city’s most iconic cheese locations. We always aim to schedule the tasting at 1:30 pm, but in some cases, it may take place later.
