About this experience

Pompeii is the most famous ancient town in the world that was covered by ashes of the eruption of Mount Vesuvius in the year 79 A.C. and has been captivating archaeologists and visitors from all over the world since excavations began. You’ll see Mt. Vesuvius from a distance, walk through the extensive ruins of Pompeii, and gain knowledge and understanding of everyday life in the ancient times. Entrance tickets are included.

After the morning visit to Pompeii, you will drive along the coast to the most important town of Sorrento, where you enjoy rest of your morning seeing the main town which has the most magnificent view of the bay of Naples and enjoy a typical local lunch.

The day continues with a drive along the coast of Amalfi to Positano, the most beautiful seaside village of the coast, where you can spend the afternoon shopping, photography and simply strolling the narrow streets of this charming villages before heading back to the port.
