Pompeii is a must for any traveler. Give yourself a chance for a leisurely tour with Fabrizio. It is going to be interesting and fun.
We will be going to Pompeii in my comfortable Mercedes Van.
We will step back in time to learn about the amazing History of Pompeii. I study archaeology and I have been a guide in Pompeii for 31 years. I still cannot believe how advanced Romans were! You will be surprised by the size and the amazing state of preservation of the archaeological park.
We will walk at your pace and I will make sure that everyone in your group understands what he is looking at. We will stay away from crowds as much as possible. The itinerary is flexible. I shall adapt to your will and needs.
Last but not least, you will take lunch at a lovely winery in a stunning place within the National Park of Mt Vesuvius. You will shortly explore the vineyards with a wine expert and you will have a pleasant wine-tasting experience with lunch.

My tour of Pompeii is tuned on your will and physical attitude. The city is roughly 150 acres large, it hosted once approximately 18000 inhabitants, so the walking tour will be focused on the highlights surrounding the ancient Forum. Would there be any special request please let me know ahead of time: we can plan the itinerary together!
In any case, most of the following places will be thoroughly visited: the Forum and its public buildings, The Thermal Bath, The Big and the Small Theatre, a tavern, a bakery, and one or two wonderful private houses.
We will take a wonderful rest at the organic wine farm “Cantina del Vesuvio”, within the boundaries of the National Park of Mt Vesuvius. It is a wonderful setting overlooking the Bay of Naples.
There will be a short guided walk to the vineyard to discover this unique land and how they produce their “Lacryma Christi” wines.
It is beautifully located and it is going to be a fun experience.
Lunch consists of a pre-set menu:
Appetizers: Bruschetta, ricotta cheese, olives, provolone cheese, salame and capocollo cured pork meat
Main: Spaghetti with the cherry tomatoes “del Piennolo” from Mt Vesuvius
Dessert: “Pastiera” - wheat and ricotta cake
Along with lunch over 5 different wines will be served (Rosè Sparkling, White, Rosé. Red, Red Reserva, sweet Dessert Wine).
The cost is € 48 per person that can be paid on the spot with a card or cash. There also is an upgraded version of the wines for the cost of € 55 per person.
