Tasting Pompeii Tour runs daily from 11:30 am to 4:00 pm and is a sensorial journey into the world of Bosco de’ Medici. It is more than a wine tasting: it is a path through history, discovering the estate, its unique production, and its deep connection with the land of Pompeii.
This experience allows guests to explore the roots of ancient winemaking traditions, including our revival of Roman amphora wine production, just as it was done 2,000 years ago.
The tour includes:
Visit to the 18th century farmhouse
Walk through the experimental vineyard
Stop at the Necropolis of 79 AD
Exploration of the winemaking room
Visit to the refining room with wooden barrels and amphorae
