We will then head toward El Bolsón, a town renowned for its mild climate and fertile soil, making it a hub for agriculture. Here, local products such as berries, apples, pears, and cherries flourish. El Bolsón is also famous for its vibrant craft beer industry, thanks to its ideal hop-growing conditions. Stop for a healthy lunch (at your own expense) and explore the bustling outdoor market, where you’ll find a wide array of food, woodwork, leatherwork, and crafts from local artisans.
Learn about El Bolsón’s unique history, including the influx of hippies from Buenos Aires in the 1960s who established the town as an 'ecological municipality' due to its natural foods and sustainable practices.
Next, we will continue to Lago Puelo National Park, a beautiful area with a privileged climate and classic Andean-Patagonian forest.
