The National Palace DE Queluz is enchanted by its imposition and exuberance of architectural details. Sintra was, in the 19th century, one of the first cribs of Romantic architecture in Europe. Its unique climate and consequential nature attracted the eyes of those who, touched by the landscape, dared to retouch it with a stunning architecture in an edenial harmony propitious to the contemplation of the beautiful and the sublime.

It is in this picturesque setting that we find on the outskirts of the historic center of Sintra, the Quinta da Regaleira. Designed and built in the late 19th century, it reflects the sensitivity and cultural, philosophical and scientific interests of the main owner, António Augusto de Carvalho Monteiro (1848-1920), allied with the virtuosism of Italian architect and scenographer Luigi Manini (1848). - 1936). The culture and creativity of these two personalities resulted in an eclectic-revivalist architectural ensemble, with particular emphasis on Manueline, Renaissance, medieval and classical styles.

Isolated in the high, on one of the peaks OF the Sierra DE Sintra, the Castle of the Moors is a fun fortification DA in the 10th century, the time of the Muslim occupation of the Iberian Peninsula.

Its famous walls snare through the mountains with its blocks DE granite between rocks and cliffs.

Its circular path allows you to glimpse a unique landscape over the Villa, the Pena and, further away, the contrast between the green DA mountain and the blue of the Atlantic.

It is one of the most windy beaches DE Portugal, and one of the most sought after by fans of surfing, windsurfing, kitesurfing and kitesurfing.
