From our high mountain retreat we will start a trekking of approximately 30 minutes through the mountain. On this journey, we will witness the majestic flight of the Andean condor, the largest bird in South America, known for its wingspan and elegance when gliding over the mountains. In addition to condors, it is also possible to find other fascinating birds such as caranchos, mulberry eagles and red-headed jotes, which are part of the unique ecosystem of the region.
Upon returning to the refuge, we will enjoy a typical Serrano lunch, which includes authentic flavors of the region.

After lunch, we will go on another mountain trek that will take us to the Cascade of Los Lampazos, a spectacular waterfall 20 meters high. This natural corner, surrounded by the beauty of the mountains, offers a perfect setting to enjoy the landscape, relax and connect with the surroundings. The waterfall is a unique place that fascinates both nature lovers and those seeking moments of tranquility and contemplation.
After exploring the waterfall and enjoying its surroundings, we will return to the refuge where a delicious snack awaits us before embarking on the way back. Finally, we will return to the meeting point.
