This tour is available for single travellers and groups. Your guide can speak fluent English and Japanese and has experience guiding around Noboribetsu. Free pick-up and drop-off allow you to enjoy the tour stress-free and a delicious lunch and hot drink will give you plenty of energy to complete the tour.
Pickup included
We will drive from Noboribetsu to here and then get ready for snowshoeing. After a short demonstration on how to use the snowshoes and poles, we will start our snowshoe activity.
Your guide will then lead you through snow-covered forests as we make our way towards the ice cave. Along the way you will cross snow bridges and some small streams. Your guide will demonstrate how to safely cross and what techniques to use. We will also have regular breaks where you can have a rest and enjoy the stunning winter landscape.
We will then snowshoe back the way we came and back to the start point. We will then drive back to Noboribetsu and say goodbye.
Once at the ice cave, we will have lunch and a hot drink and then go explore the cave and see the amazing bamboo ice formations. This is a great photo spot so make sure to bring your camera!
