Noboribetsu Bear Park is a unique zoo located at the summit of Shikotsu-Toya National Park. Visitors can enjoy both the bears and the scenic view from the ropeway at the foot of the mountain. At the summit, you'll have the chance to see Ezo brown bears and explore the Brown Bear Museum, the only one of its kind in the world. Additionally, you can relax at the observation deck with stunning views of Lake Kuttara or experience the Yukar no Sato (Ainu village), which recreates the indigenous Ainu people's early-Meiji era architecture.
