Detailed itinerary

1

8:50 am SAUNIATU WATERFALL: 50 minutes from Apia along the central north coast, and 7 km inland brings you to your first dip under this rarely visited beautiful and pristine waterfall.

2

9:45 am PIULA CAVE POOL: 15 minutes onwards to your second swim; this iconic freshwater spring pool, literally only metres from the ocean, sits beneath a historic church.

3

11:00 pm LALOMANU BEACH is a 45 minutes drive (from Piula) where we will snack and swim at Samoa’s most famous beach. The drive is inland, passing Le Mafa Pass scenic lookout, to the eastern tip of Upolu.

4

12:25 pm TO SUA OCEAN TRENCH: 25 minutes from Lalomanu you arrive at what is unquestionably the nation’s most renowned destination site. Brave the steep descent into the trench and swim 30m through a natural tunnel. Lunch and stroll around the lovely gardens and gaze over the beautiful volcanic coast.

5

2:35 pm TOGITOGIGA Falls is a half hour drive along the southeastern coast to your final swim. Refresh yourselves in these small but beautiful waterfalls. Take a jump over the falls - if you are game

6

2:55 pm LAVA SEA-CLIFF WALK: This site can be interchanged with or added to our itinerary, time and interest permitting, it is just 20 minutes from Togitogiga Falls.
However, it is a spectacular site and well worth the visit; with its sea arches, islands and lava field

7

4:25 pm PAPAPAPAITAI FALLS: Roadside stop to view the spectacular 110m falls.

8

5:00 pm After a 25-minute drive you arrive back in APIA having completed a highly active but most memorable day in Samoa.
TOTAL DRIVING TIME IS APPROX. 4 HRS.
