About this experience

Lunch + Island Show. This is a shore excursion designed for cruise ships coming in the harbor. A perfect tour for first timers to Samoa or those who would like to spend a little more time on popular sites. This tour captures some of the main highlights Apia has to offer and ensures a lasting memory and enjoyable experience of the Islands. A unique tour with lunch and an island show at the beach. We aim to ensure your experience is nothing short of amazing whilst in Samoa. There is a minimum of 14 pax per booking with a max number of 40 per booking. We can cater to groups greater than 40 should there be a huge interest in our package.

Detailed itinerary

[15 minute drive] Drive through Apia towards Mulinu'u Peninsula where you will see some historical monuments, Parliament building, and the Ministry of Justice Court building as well as some places of interest, restaurants and hotels along the Peninsula Drive.

[10 minute drive] Pay a visit to the local goods and fruit market. You will experience the trade on a daily basis and the hard working Samoan farmers/ families. Choose a local coconut vendor for a fresh cold refreshing niu (coconut).

[5 minute drive] Enjoy the beautiful Immaculate Conception Cathedral located in the heart of Apia and capture the beauty of Samoan art and designs vividly displayed in the Cathedral.

[15 minute drive] This is a tour of the residence of the famous Scottish author who made Samoa his home in the 1980's. He wrote the famous books Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde as well as Treasure Island which were later made into movies. He is buried on top of Mt. Vaea near his residence and approx. 472m above sea level overlooking Apia. (15 minutes drive time)

[15 minute drive] One of only 8 temples in the world. The Bahai temple is set amongst a beautifully landscaped compound with a garden popular for photos

[15 minute drive] A beautiful waterfall along the Cross Island Road. This is a quick photo stop.

[25 minuite drive] A stopover at the amazing Ocean Club at Maninoa where you be greeted by our Island warriors and enjoy Samoan entertainment by our beautiful dance team. Lunch will also be served here. Relax and enjoy a swim at the beach.

[45 minute drive] The world renowned To Sua Ocean Trench. Guests can decide to climb down the ladder for a swim or relax in the beautifully set garden area. Please do this as soon as possible as we will spend about 25 minutes at this site. Guests may also trek down to the rock pools on the side with views of the ocean

[15 minute drive] A view of the majestic Sopoaga Waterfall. This is the final stop on tour before returning to Apia via the Le Mafa pass and east to north coast drive.

[20 minute drive] A quick stop on the side of the road for a view of the coast from the Le Mafa Scenic pass. From here its approximately a 55 minute drive to Apia Wharf
