Visiting the Emberá community is a unique experience to immerse yourself in its rich indigenous culture. There you can learn about their traditions, enjoy dances and learn about natural medicine. You'll also appreciate the unique crafts they create, such as the colorful baskets and carved masks.
Admission is $35 per person.
This is a community support trip, where most of the money goes to Emberá families.
We take a short walk to reach a beautiful waterfall in the middle of the jungle, where you can swim.
Then we headed by canoe to the Embera Community where their Chiefs will welcome you with traditional music and their picturesque traditional dresses.
We will learn about their history and traditions on a normal day of their daily life.
We will dance to the rhythm of their music and participate in their cultural tattoos.
And finally we will share a delicious lunch with fish and fruits, prepared by themselves.
