Stop 1

We head to the Miraflores Visitor Center where we will have the opportunity to see the 45-minute documentary about the Panama Canal, narrated by Morgan Freeman at the Imax theater, we will know the history and operation of this important and imposing construction.

This time includes transfer to the Miraflores Locks.

From the Miraflores Locks we arrive at the Pedro Miguel Locks, this is the smallest lock built and very important since it levels the ships at the level of the snake cut, which is the most dangerous and complicated part of the transit of ships.

The time includes the transfer until you reach the Pedro Miguel Locks.

Lunch in Columbus, before arriving we agree what you wish to have lunch. We took about 1 hour for lunch.

Transfer time to the province of Colón is included.

We arrive at the new Agua Clara Visitor Center, where we will have the opportunity to see the Expanded Canal, here we can see the larger ships that pass through the Panama Canal the Neopanamax.

We pass the new Atlantic Bridge that crosses the Atlantic entrance of the Panama Canal and joins the City of Columbus and Down Coast of Columbus.

This bridge holds the world record as the four-lane concrete cable-stayed bridge, with the longest light visible at 530 meters.

After passing the immense Atlantic Bridge, we will arrive at Gatun Locks where we will give you more important details about the Panama Canal.

We passed through the Gatun Locks and arrived at the Gatun Dam which is of paramount importance for the functioning of the Panama Canal, this at the time of its construction was the largest dam in the world next to the artificial Gatun Lake.

This time includes transfer to Gatun Dam
