About this experience

Cape Town's best and most authentic wine tasting experience! The wine tractor is a hop-on hop-off tour of some of the finest wine farms & hidden gems in Stellenbosch's Golden Triangle. Explore the vineyards & working wine farms, visiting grand estates, boutique producers, and historic homesteads. Enjoy a unique perspective that only a tractor can give you as you travel through the back-roads and vineyards while our friendly guides teach you about the area and Stellenbosch's history of wine-making. At every farm you will get 65 minutes to relax and enjoy the wines or grab a bite to eat at a relaxed un-rushed pace before setting off the the next farm.

Most farms are child-friendly, offering kids' areas and activities.

Only 35 min from Cape Town, 20 from the airport.

Please note that cellar tours are not included in the tour. It is a wine tasting tour sampling the different wines produced on each different farm. Cellar tours can be arranged directly with some farms at a extra cost

Meeting point

All tractor trips start and end at Eikendal vineyards on the R44 between Somerset West and Stellenbosch. PLS note: you need to arrive 30 minutes before the scheduled tractor departure time. There is a daily shuttle available at an additional cost of R350 and needs to be booked with our ticket office
