Detailed itinerary

1

We meet at the Tokara Delicatessen, surrounded by striking sculptures and contemporary art, before setting off into the vineyards. We meander our way around a beautiful walk that leads us to what may be the most breathtaking view in the Cape, where we pause to pop a bottle of bubbly and take it all in.

2

Our walk then takes us gently downhill to Thelema Wine Estate, past rows of towering eucalyptus trees that lend the wines their signature minty freshness. We arrive at the estate’s warm and inviting tasting room, where we sample Thelema’s acclaimed wines, including those proudly poured at the inauguration of Nelson Mandela.

3

We then make our way back up through Thelema and into Tokara’s elegant tasting room, where floor-to-ceiling views open onto some of the Cape’s most dramatic landscapes. Here we linger over a curated tasting of Tokara’s acclaimed wines, considered among the finest in the region.

4

We then follow an enchanted backroad that winds through the valley and leads us to Zorgvliet, the oldest wine farm in the region. Steeped in history and charm, Zorgvliet invites us to slow down and enjoy a tasting of their beautiful wines in a setting that feels timeless.

5

After our tasting at Zorgvliet, we return to the Tokara Delicatessen for a leisurely lunch. The menu celebrates fresh, seasonal ingredients, with dishes that are as beautifully presented as they are delicious. Surrounded by art, vineyards, and sweeping valley views, it’s the perfect place to relax, recharge, and savor the flavors of the Cape.
