The Palácio de Seteais, an elegant palace near the town of Sintra, was built in the 18th century for the Dutch consul, Daniel Gildemeester, on a piece of land granted by the Marquis of Pombal. It currently belongs to the hotel company Tivoli Hotels & Resorts, which has a hotel unit there.
It was built in the 18th century. People used to come to this fountain to fill their bottles by draining natural water and humidity from the top of the mountain. It is the largest source we have in Sintra.
