Fascinating stories of Timisoara from the past can be enjoyed during our journey through the 4 central squares of Timisoara:
Victoriei Square, Libertatii Square, Unirii Square, and Saint Gheorghe Square as well as on the streets in their vicinity.
We will therefore admire the priceless architectural treasures from various eras, in this area, where we can meet embodiments of the classicist, historicist styles of the late 19th century,
then of the secession at the beginning of the 20th century, but also the famous baroque style of some cultural settlements in Unirii Square and beyond.

The purpose of the tour is to get to know and popularize these invaluable cultural and architectural treasures of the Cetate neighborhood.

We'll admire the marvelous palaces built here in secession style, the Orthodox Cathedral, the National Theatre building, the Huniade Castle and more.

We shall take a tour across this square and learn about this great historical place where we could see the Nepomuk magnificent monument in the middle of the square, and we could make some photos with all other beautifull buildings from this great place.

A small and pitoresque square, piata Sfantu Gheorghe is a very interesting place, where the statue of Sfantu Gheorghe is acquiring us, and where we could take a small coffee or tea break.

Built mainly during XVIII century in a baroque style, the buildings of this square are magnificent. An important part of these buildings adopted during the years other styles too as art nouveau, classicist styles. This a great place to visit and take toor, learning about the history of almost all buildings, like House Bruck, house Miksa Steiner, the Catholic Cathedral, the Barowue Palace (National Art Museum), the Serbian Orthodoxe Church and many more.

The only bastion remained from the citadel of Timisoara, the one with the name Maria Therezia was the greatest one, recently renovated, it is a pitoresque place where we could take a tour on it and visit optionally some expositions and listen to the story of the Timisoara fortresses. and how evolved they over the time.
