The walking tour begins in Plaza Las Delicias, named after its breezy winds and refreshing waterfall mists. The plaza and its surrounding areas hold a rich history of the city and the island. Parque de Bombas is located within the plaza, which was previously a festival center and firehouse. You will get a view of Castillo Serralles and Cruceta del Vigia from the Cathedral of Our Lady of Guadalupe. We will show you locations of historical events that occurred in Ponce, such as the Ponce massacre and the execution of criminals at Casa Alcalde, previously a jail. The Serrallés Castle Museum offers you a tour where you can appreciate its collection pieces and learn about the history of the Serrallés Family. You will be able to walk between its hallways and furnished rooms, as if the family still lived in the residence.
This tour includes a meal at Nisper Asador. Contact us if you have any allergies or dietary restrictions. All plates come with water or soda. Anything not listed on our menu is at your own expense. We highly recommend tipping the restaurant staff.
