About this experience

El Yunque was believed to be the living quarters of Yocahu, the most powerful Taino god, and it is easy to see why! El Yunque is exceptionally beautiful, pristine, and untouched by humans. Come explore with me this remote and hidden part of El Yunque, away from the crowds of "The Slides". Visit El Yunque like a true local and come get lost with me in this unbelievably beautiful oasis of life. Here, we will visit the Holy Spirit River, where we will hike to three pools and countless waterfalls. We will be able to sit and receive a back massage with hydrotherapy as the waterfall beats down on our backs. Come experience the real Puerto Rico and the El Yunque National Forest away from the crowds and the tourist traps.

Detailed itinerary

Stop 1

El Yunque is a magical almost holy land. The Tainos, the original Puerto rican natives, considered El Yunque to be the living area of Yocahu; their most powerful God. Once you enter the rainforest you understand why they thought that as the place is surreal and quite easily one of the most beautiful places on earth. Here we will hike, trek and swim thru pristine and completely untouched lands. This is not you typical touristy trip with a 100 other people there. This is El Yunque in all its wild and raw glory. Let me guide you around through the National Rainforest and get away from the crowds and the tourist traps. The places we visit during this hike include at least 3 private pools just for us and a special visit to the place I call "The Land of 1,000 Waterfalls". This tour is private, meaning that it will just be your group under the care of one of our expert guides.
