Stop 1 Pass by

Be prepared to explore the natural wonders of Bariloche from the Hills: At the appropriate time, we’ll pick you up from your hotel and drive you on a 40-minute journey towards the base of the “Cerro Bella Vista” or Bella Vista Hill in the area of "Colonia Suiza" where the trail begins.

Stop 2

Once at the beginning of the trail, the moment you were waiting for: Time to move your legs! From here, you’ll start a moderately - strenuous ascent through a lush forest of coihue and lenga trees up the hill, reaching the lookouts above the timberline. You’ll hike surrounded by magnificent panoramic views of Lakes Moreno and Nahuel Huapi and the Andes Mountain Range. Trekking on this amazing Patagonian forest, in total harmony with nature, is a breathtaking experience. By midday, we’ll share a time to relax at the summit, where you’ll enjoy a box lunch. **Some birds you might see: Magellanic Woodpeckers and Condors, among others.**Hiking total duration: 7 hours, including approximately 1 hour of lunchtime.

Stop 3 Pass by

After lunch, you will start hiking downhill, back to the starting point and be driven back to your hotel in Bariloche. **Transportation duration will depend on the location of your hotel.** Trekking distance: 7,6km/4,7ml. Elevation gained: +890m/2.900ft. Type of terrain: steep trail with rocks
