This is a challenging hiking trail, requiring good physical fitness and a strong spirit of adventure, but it’s well worth it.
The day starts at a small mountain village. you will be briefed on the day ahead. The guide will tell you about the villagers’ lives and explain about the use of local herbs which you will be able to pick, smell and taste. You will walk up and down hills through the unspoiled, dense jungle. Admire 100-year-old trees and listen to the birds. Climb over the rocks to cross the stream where you will have lunch; then climb up a purpose-built wooden ladder to a secluded waterfall, where you can shower under the spray. On the way back, you will cross the stream again over a fallen tree, which serves as a natural bridge, walk among bamboo and wild bananas trees. Finish the hike in the village where you will try exotic fruits, herbal tea or local coffee, before we take you back to your hotel after a wonderful day.
