This is a comprehensive city tour of Amsterdam where we will showcase the rich history as well as the modern side of the city.
Amsterdam as it is now, was the capital of the Netherlands during the Dutch Golden Age that lasted 100 years, back in the 16th/17th century. This Golden age transformed what was once an insignificant country into an economic powerhouse.
In this tour, we will take to some of the historic buildings that are of great significance. We will walk past merchant homes, and Dutch East Indies offices and walk over several bridges the city is known for. We will also be visiting the neighborhoods that shaped the city in the past as well as in the present.
Like any city, Amsterdam is also known for its little cafes and restaurants, where you get to try out some local dishes. You can choose between half a day or a full day tour and I will be able to customize the tour based on your interests.
