The castle tour takes you on a journey, exploring historic castles and palaces located in the Utrecht and North Holland provinces. Away from the crowded Amsterdam city, you will be taken first to the beautiful and grand Castle De Haar. Renovated and reopened in 1912, you will be able to visit the Castle which has some impressive rooms and a private collection of items, the Garden, and the park.
After visiting the Castle, we will explore the lesser-known castles in the region of Baarn. These include Castle Groeneveld (garden/surroundings), Castle De Hooge Vuursche (view from the outside), Castle Sloterdijk (view from the outside), and a few others.
Finally, if time permits we will visit the 13th-century castle Muiderslot. You can enjoy the view of the castle from the outside if you prefer, you can enter the castle by paying a fee of €19 PP directly. After the visit, we will drop you back at your hotel or any other place in Amsterdam.

This Castle is the biggest in the country. Historically dating back to the 13th century, the castle was rebuilt and opened in the year 1912. Located on 135 acres of private land, the castle was designed by the famous architect Pierre Kuypers, who also designed the Amsterdam Central Station and the Rijks Museum.
As a visitor, you will be visiting the castle which adores several rooms and halls but also the castle park and garden which is home to bridges, ponds, and lakes.
The castle is famous for some of the world's most popular visitors including Roger Moore, Gregory Peck, Coco Chanel, and Yves Saint Laurent among others.
After visiting Castle De Haar, we will visit a few more castles in the region of Baarn.
These include Drakensteyn, De Hooge Vuursche, Palace Soesdijk, and Castle Groeneveld. Since these castles are under renovation or only allow special visitors, we will see them from the outside. It is possible to visit the gardens, and the surroundings and take pictures of some of these castles. Castle Groeneveld is open on certain days for visitors.
Depending upon the time available, we will visit Muiderslot castle, which dates back to the 13th century.
