The historic royal tour takes you on a journey, exploring historic castles and palaces located in North Holland, Utrecht, and Gelderland.
Away from the crowded Amsterdam city, you will be taken first to the beautiful and grand 'Paleis Het Loo'( 75 -90 minutes drive). This 17th-century summer palace was renovated and reopened in 2022. You will be able to visit the Palace, Garden and the Stables (Entrance fees included).
Followed by exploring the lesser-known private castles in the region of Baarn (based on available time) . These include Castle Groeneveld (garden/surroundings), Castle De Hooge Vuursche (view from the outside), Castle Sloterdijk (view from the outside), and a few others.
Finally, we will visit the 13th-century castle Muiderslot. You can enjoy the view of the castle from the outside, and if you prefer, you can enter the castle by paying a fee of €19 per person directly.
Drive back to the hotel in Amsterdam.

Meet and Greet in Amsterdam. We will meet you at your Hotel/Place of stay in Amsterdam. We will give a brief introduction about the itinerary (15 minutes). After the brief, we will drive to our first location 'Castle Muiderslot' (about 45 minutes).
The highlight of our visit. The 330-year-old palace is now fully renovated and open to the public from 2022. The history of Paleis Het Loo goes back to the 17th century and it is probably the most grand palace in the country. We will explore the lavish Palace, Gardens and the Royal vehicles
Castle Muiderslot ( Drive By): The castle is one of the oldest and best-preserved castles in the Netherlands. Overlooking the Vecht River and what used to be the Dutch South Sea, the castle was built 700 years ago. The castle was fully renovated by the famous architect Pierre Cuypers, who was behind the Rijks Museum and the Amsterdam central station. A must-visit when you are visiting The Netherlands. By paying entrance fees directly (€15 PP), you can explore the castle from the inside.
We will drive back to Amsterdam and you will be dropped back at your hotel.
