You'll meet your guide in front of the entrance of Porta Marina inferiore and she will eventually help you to buy the ticket or to stop at the restrooms. Once inside the ruins the guide will stop to explain the history of the archeological site of Pompei and about the eruption and then you'll have a walk with her in the most peaceful moment of the day, when most of the tourist has gone and the light is changing and becoming softer.
