The excursion starts in the main streets of the country's economic and political capital, and along the road your guide will inform you about the main highlights of the city.

Depending on the cruise ship schedule, we can visit a small traditional market for local fruits and vegetables and learn about the everyday life of the inhabitants of the rural town.

Here we will take a photostop and admire the beauty of the landscape with high mountains and deep valleys as well as small houses hanging on the hills. Here you can also admire one of the 7 natural wonders of Santiago Island.

Assomada is the second largest city on the island and capital in the north and interior of the island, on Wednesdays and Saturdays you can visit a large street market throughout the city, which is a great tourist attraction.

One of the island’s natural parks is located at 800 m altitude, where you will get to know the fauna and flora of the island and admire one of the most beautiful and impressive volcanic and mountainous landscapes, with striking elevation differences in the region of the Serra-Malagueta mountains.

Tarrafal is a fishing village located on the far north coast of Santiago Island, a small fishing village with one of the most beautiful beaches with white sand and crystal clear waters of the island. Depending on the schedule of the cruise ship, we have free time on the beach and can enjoy a Maracujá capipirinha and have a local lunch.

After lunch we will sail along the east coast of the island and admire the coastal beauty, passing some fishing villages, with a photo stop and a stop at the large banana and coconut plantation before returning to the ship.
