1

Discover the beauty of Cueva Ventana in Arecibo. This iconic limestone cave, perched on a cliff, offers a spectacular view of the Rio Grande de Arecibo valley through its famous "window." The adventure begins with a hike through a lush tropical forest, where you’ll encounter diverse plant life and experience the serenity of Puerto Rico’s natural landscape.

Inside the cave, you’ll explore its fascinating features, including ancient Taíno petroglyphs carvings left by Puerto Rico's indigenous people, offering a glimpse into the island's rich pre-Columbian history. As you make your way through the cave’s chambers, you'll also learn about the difference type of bats and there ecosystem. Your expert guide will share insights about the cave’s ecological significance. The tour culminates at the famous "window," where you’ll be rewarded with a stunning panoramic view of the valley below, a moment perfect for capturing memories.

This is a moderated hike, not extreme.

2

Cool down and enjoy our hidden waterfalls while river trekking into one of the karstic zone canyons. Once we complete a 15-minute hike through the water and beautiful rock formations, we will reach one of the most impressive waterfalls in the northern region. Once there, you will be able to swim, go under the waterfalls, and do some cliff jumping (all optional at the second waterfall). You will get wet and enter the water up to chest level (we provide life jackets).

Important: If the weather does not make it safe for us to enter the water, we will go to a natural spring instead.
