Then, travel to the old island of Marken enjoing the amazing views around you. This historic place remains well-preserved to this day.
Finally we will return to Amsterdam.
Our guide will explain the history and function of the typical Dutch mills and will visit with you a traditional wooden clog workshop . Then you will enjoy free time to visit and photograph the mills.
After a walking tour through the center of the historic city of Edam visiting its most well-known monuments and corners, we will access a typical cheese factory where they will tell us about the process of making cheese and we will enjoy a tasting of different types of cheese.
We will enjoy a guided tour of the old town and port of Volendam. We will have free time to walk around and eat at any of its restaurants.
Once we arrive at the islet of Marken, we will enjoy a guided tour from its idyllic port through its narrow streets before returning to Amsterdam.
